UT Ladakh reports one new Covid-19 positive case No patient cured and discharged

Leh, May 08: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, one new positive sample report of Covid-19 were received. No deaths were reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
While a total of 138 sample reports were tested in UT Ladakh 102 sample reports in Leh and 35 sample reports in Kargil were found to be negative. The bulletin further informs that no patient was cured and discharged. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 2, both of them are in Leh district.
The bulletin further informs that 2135 passengers were screened at the KBR, Leh airport while 650 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse check post, 43 passengers were screened at Upshi check post.
