UT Ladakh reports no new Covid-19 positive case; 1 patient cured and discharged

Leh, May 03: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, no new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received. No deaths were reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
While a total of 55 sample reports were tested in UT Ladakh. 42 sample reports in Leh and 13 sample reports in Kargil were found to be negative. The bulletin further informs that one patient was cured and discharged by CMO Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 1; all active cases are in Leh district.
The bulletin further informs that 1936 passengers were screened at the KBR, Leh airport while 542 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post, 50 passengers were screened at Upshi check post.
