UT Ladakh reports 24 new Covid-19 positive cases; 16 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Dec 26: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, 24 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday.
16 positive sample reports were received by CMO Leh and 8 sample reports were received by CMO Kargil.

While a total of 1312 sample reports were tested in UT Ladakh. 1067 sample reports in Leh and 220 sample reports in Kargil were found negative.

The bulletin further informs that UT Ladakh has discharged 16 patients. The patients were discharged by CMO Leh.

With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 218; 153 cases in Leh and 65 cases in Kargil district.

The bulletin further informs that 716 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 160 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post.
