UT Ladakh reports 23 new Covid-19 positive cases; 04 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Jan 02: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, 23 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. 20 positive sample reports were received by CMO Leh and three positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil. No death was reported yesterday.

While a total of 1024 sample reports were tested in UT Ladakh. 636 sample reports in Leh and 357 sample reports in Kargil were found negative.

The bulletin further informs that four patients have been discharged. The patients were discharged by CMO Leh.

With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 203; 153 cases in Leh and 50 cases in Kargil district.

The bulletin further informs that 594 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 92 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post.
