UT Ladakh reports 18 new positive cases; 39 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Dec 13: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, 18 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. 17 positive sample reports were received by CMO Leh and 1 positive sample report was received by CMO Kargil.
While a total of 419 sample reports were tested in UT Ladakh. 329 sample reports in Leh and 72 sample reports in Kargil were found negative. One death from Covid-19 was reported in Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further informs that UT Ladakh has discharged 39 patients. All the patients were discharged by CMO Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 190; 173 cases in Leh and 17 cases in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 619 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 129 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post.
