UT Ladakh reports 17 new Covid-19 positive cases; 10 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Dec 18: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, 17 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. 15 positive sample reports were received by CMO Leh and 2 by CMO Kargil.
While a total of 735 sample reports were tested in UT Ladakh. 482 sample reports in Leh and 233 sample reports in Kargil were found negative. One death from Covid-19 was reported in Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further informs that UT Ladakh has discharged 10 patients. All the patients were discharged by CMO Leh.
With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 173; 159 cases in Leh and 14 cases in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 526 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 208 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post.
