UT Ladakh reports 01 new Covid-19 positive case; no patient cured and discharged

Leh, April 23: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, one new positive sample report of Covid-19 was received. No deaths were reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
While a total of 140 sample reports were tested in UT Ladakh. 113 sample reports in Leh and 26 sample reports in Kargil were found to be negative. The bulletin further informs that no patient has been discharged by UT Ladakh today.
With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 3; all active cases are in Leh district.
The bulletin further informs that 1763 passengers were screened at the KBR, Leh airport while 252 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post and 77 passengers were screened at Khangral check post.
