Two new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; One patient cured and discharged

Leh, Aug 02: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of two new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday, and both the positive cases were reported in Leh. While a total of 1782 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 1201 and Kargil: 581 were found negative.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged one patient yesterday and that patient was discharged from Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 57; 52 in Leh and five in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 2181 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 127 and 521 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts.
