Training conducted on adolescent health education

Leh, Mar 29: A training on adolescent health education was conducted virtually, today at DIET Leh. It was organised by the Directorate of School Education, UT Ladakh and DIET Leh in collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir AIDS Control Society.
A total of 50 teachers who were nominated for adolescent health education from various schools in the Leh district have attended the session.
Dr Yangchan Dolma, Assistant Professor, Govt Medical College, Jammu spoke on adolescent health and Stanzin Dolma, Health Educator and ICTC Counsellor, SNM Hospital Leh spoke on adolescents’ reproductive health, HIV and other sexually transmitted infections.
