State Taxes Department, UT Ladakh organized a one-day GST awareness cum interaction programme at Leh

Leh, June 22: On the direction of Advisor/Finance Secretary, UT Ladakh, Umang Narula, State Taxes Department, UT Ladakh organized a one-day GST awareness cum interaction programme at Leh in presence of Additional Commissioner, UTGST, Ladakh D.C. Rajathkumar today.

The programme was attended by many taxpayers and representatives of business communities of the Leh district. Inspector, UTGST, Ladakh Zulfikar Ali discussed various provisions and rules regarding E-waybill and Tax invoicing under the GST Act. Assistant Commissioner, UTGST, Ladakh, Virendra Singh Pawar, while speaking on the occasion, advised the business community to follow the GST Law. He also assured the business community of Leh that such awareness programmes will be organized in the future as well. Inspector Stanzin Sherap, Sub-Inspector Mohd Ashraf, and Sub-Inspector Maqbool Ahmad also contributed.

Later a question-and-answer session was also held.
