Secretary Ravinder Kumar takes stock of on-going works on Trout Rearing Unit Drass, GHS Thasgam, Ice Hockey Rink Kurbathang

KARGIL, SEPTEMBER 29, 2021: Secretary Youth Services and Sports Ladakh, Ravinder Kumar along with concerned officers today visited Trout Rearing Unit Khandiyal of Fisheries Department where he took stock of its functioning and interacted with the officials there.
Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve, Director Animal and Sheep Husbandry Ladakh Dr Muhammad Raza Abbasi, Assistant Director (AD) Fisheries Kargil Murtaza Ali, Executive Engineer R&B-II Kacho Mehmood Ali, District Youth Services and Sports Officer Kargil Muhammad Hussain Rehnuma beside other concerned officers accompanied the Secretary during the tour.
At the Trout Rearing Unit Khandiyal, Secretary Ravinder directed the officials to carry out necessary repairing of the building and the fish pond in order to further develop the trout unit to give further push to Fisheries.
Later the Secretary also visited Government High School Thasgam where he inspected the work on the under-construction playground. He directed the concerned executing agency to accelerate the pace of work so that all works get completed in time, adding he also directed to complete the workon the Volleyball court by installing polls for it on priority basis to make it functional.
Secretary Ravinder also visited the Ice Hockey Rink Kurbathang to take stock of its development works and directed the officials for early completion of the on-going works including the terrace. He also directed to issue tenders immediately for procurement of mechanical parts.
