Over 4400 LRCs issued in Tehsils across Kargil this week DC Kargil hails Tehsildars, ministerial, revenue staff for smooth issuance of LRCs to the general population

KARGIL, NOVEMBER 14, 2021: In connection with the UT Administration Ladakh’s initiative to issue the Ladakh Resident Certificate (LRC) to the general population, and as per the directions of the Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve to all Tehsildars in the district to ensure issuance of LRCs to the general population each working day, Tehsildars across Kargil District issued 4463 LRCs in Tehsils across the district this week.
As per the official figures, during the continued process of LRC issuance this week Tehsildar Kargil issued 831 LRCs, Tehsildar Drass 722, Tehsildar Shargole 426, Tehsildar Shakar Chiktan 617, Tehsildar Sankoo 799, Tehsildar Taisuru 592 while Tehsildar Zanskar issued 476 LRCs.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner Kargil has hailed the satisfactory services rendered by all Tehsildars, ministerial staff, revenue officials and other staff for issuance of continuous LRCs to the general population despite their multifarious office and field assignments, adding he has emphasized that pendencies should not remain more than 2 days.
