NYK, District Administration Kargil celebrate 8th International Yoga Day

KARGIL, JUNE 21, 2022: Nehru Yuva Kendra Kargil and District Administration Kargil today jointly organized the 8th International Yoga Day at Forest Park Damsna Kargil.
On the occasion, Sajjad Hussain Tehsildar Taisuru block was the chief guest while Yasir Ahmad Block Development Officer Taisuru was the guest of honour.
Dr Sajjad Hussain BMO, Mohammad Ishaq ZPEO, Jigmat Spaldon DYO Nehru Yuva Kendra Kargil, Abdul Samat Naib Tehsildar were also present on the occasion. The program started with common yoga protocol practice followed by the national anthem.
While addressing the participants, Tehsildar Taisuru highlighted the importance of yoga and also encouraged participants to adopt the yoga as daily practice.
In this program, students from HSS Panikhar, HSS Purtikchay and HS Lungjuck, national youth volunteers of NYK Kargil, youth of Taisuru block, sarpanch and staff members of different departments participated.
