Meeting-cum-training on Land Acquisition Portal held for Revenue Department officials

KARGIL, JULY 01, 2022: Director Land Acquisition, Ministry of Roads, Transport and Highways, Rajesh Gupta today chaired a meeting with the officials of Revenue Department Kargil to review the land acquisition for the ongoing NH-301 works.
Besides Rajesh Gupta, Senior Technical Director, Mansoorul Haque, Consultant Land Acquisition, BP Khare, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Abdul Gaffar Zargar, General Manager NHIDCL, Shiv Kumar, SDMs, Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars and Patwaris of the concerned areas attended the meeting-cum-training session.
Speaking to the officials, Director Rajesh Gupta said that the meeting was aimed to discuss the land acquisition for the national highway 301. He instructed the concerned officials to learn the procedure and its aspects for land acquisition as per the NH Act.
BP Khare gave awareness to the officials about updates and recently adopted procedures in land acquisition. He informed officials about the type of land, category of land, nature of the land and procedures to acquire it. He also took queries and doubts from the officials and addressed them as per the norms.
The Senior Technical Director, Mansoorul Haque from the Ministry also gave power pint presentation to the Revenue officials on Land Acquisition Portal.
