Horticulture Dept organises Kisan Bhagidari Prathmika Hamari Campaign at Matho

Leh, April 26: Department of Horticulture, Leh organised ‘Kisan Bhagidari Prathmikta Hamari Campaign’ as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in Matho village today.
Executive Councillor for Agriculture, Stanzin Chosphel was the chief guest and Director Horticulture, UT Ladakh, Mohd Yusuf Dhar was the guest of honour on the occasion. About 100 farmers including village Sarpanch and Nambardar participated in the programme.
Executive Councillor, Stanzin Chosphel urged the farmers to take advantage of all the schemes run by the department. He appreciated the role of the Horticulture Dept. in providing benefits to the villagers of Matho. During the programme, District Horticulture Officer, Leh, Kunzang Wangmo briefed the farmers regarding the schemes run by the Department and also distributed Horticulture tools among the farmers.
