GDC Drass organizes inter-house volleyball competition

KARGIL, JUNE 15, 2022: Department of Physical Education and Sports, Govt. Degree College Drass today organized an inter-house volleyball competition for boys which was part of the intramural sports competition 2022 under Azadi Ka Amrit Mohatsav.
The first match was played between Tololing House and Tiger Hill House team. The game was tossed by the in-charge principal, Prof. Mumtaz Ahmad in presence of College Director of Physical Education and Sports Mustafa Ali.
All the faculty members were also present during the event. The second match was played between Batra Top House and Manman Top House team right after the first match.
The first match was won by Tiger Hill House team and in the second match Manman Top House team emerged as the winner.
The final match was played between Tiger Hill House and Manman House in which Tiger Hill House team consecutively won two matches and became the winner of the volleyball competition.
At the end Prof. Haider Ali Askary, congratulated the winning team and all other teams that took part in the tournament and urged students to take active part in other sports activities to hone their talent. During the event, light refreshment was served among the participating players.
