    EC Mohsin Ali inspects winter tuition centres at Shakar Chiktan

    KARGIL, FEBRUARY 17, 2022: Executive Councilor, Health, Agriculture, Forest and Revenue, LAHDC, Kargil, Mohsin Ali today inspected the winter tuition centres of Shakar Chiktan.
    He was accompanied by Kacho Asgar, IC SDM Shakar Chiktan, Ghulam Quadir, Zonal Education Officer Chiktan, Muhammad Ishaq Headmaster, Zonal Level Monitoring Team and Zonal level coordinator constituted by Education Department.
    He visited Government Higher Secondary School, Khangral having a total of 43 students enrolled up to 10th, for which 4 tutors have been engaged.
    The EC also visited Government High School, Bodh Kharboo where 60 students are enrolled from up to 10th and for which 4 tutors have been engaged.
    He also visited Government High School, Samrah where a total of 39 students are enrolled from up to 10th for which 5 tutors have been engaged by the department.
    Similarly, for Government High Secondary School, Chiktan, 73 students are enrolled from class 6th to 10th for which 4 tutors have been engaged by the department and one teacher engaged by the Village Education Committee.
    For Government High School Hagniss, 80 students have been enrolled from 6th to 10th for which 5 tutors are available while two teachers are working on a voluntary basis.
    Similarly, for Government Higher Secondary School Shakar, 66 students are enrolled from 6th to 10th for which five tutors have been engaged by the department.
    He said that the tuition centres are running and proper heating arrangements are available in these centres and all Covid-19 protocols are being followed for which the EC appreciated the efforts of Zonal Education Officer, Zonal Level Monitoring Team, Zonal Coordinator and members of Village Education Committees.
    During the visit, various public delegations of different villages met with the EC and put forth some demands before him. The EC assured the delegations that their genuine demands will be taken up with concerned departments for early redressal.
