Director School Education Ladakh pays surprise visit of schools at Sankoo, Taisuru Takes stock of pace of progress on on-going works

KARGIL, AUGUST 12, 2021: Director School Education Ladakh Dr Safdar Ali paid a surprise visit to different schools in Sankoo Taisuru blocks here today.
The Director was accompanied by the Chief Education Officer (CEO), Kargil Nazir Ahmad Wani and other concerned officers.
During the course of the surprise visit, the Director inquired from the concerned officers about the status of teaching and learning activities for higher classes and also took stock of various on-going construction works under Special Development Package (SDP) and Samagra Shiksha.
The concerned officers appraised the Director School Education about the functioning of HSS Trespone, HSS Lankarchay and other schools after reopening of schools post COVID-19 relaxations.
Director Safdar Ali while expressing satisfaction over the smooth functioning of schools assured for redressal of grievances raised by the school managements and concerned subject teachers.
The Director inspected the construction site of 100 bedded hostel under SDP and Samagra Shiksha at Sankoo and instructed the concerned contractor to get the pending works completed before the end of the working season. He also visited the land allotted for the construction of hostels, staff quarters and special schools.
Director School Education stressed for early execution and completion of all construction works allotted to NHIDCL and other executing agencies. He also instructed the CEO Kargil to immediately resolve the issues raised by the executing agencies with regard to SDP works.
