Department of Social Welfare Ladakh holds special drive for coverage of left-out eligible persons under pensionary schemes

KARGIL, AUGUST 09, 2021: In order to trace out of the left-out persons eligible for sanction of pensionary benefits under different schemes, the Department of Social Welfare Ladakh has started a special drive in Kargil District from August 7, 2021 which will continue for a period of one month.
All Panchayat Halqas/villages of the district are being covered in the special drive, during which the Sarpanchs and ICDS functionaries will assist the field functionaries of the department to gather information about the left-out beneficiaries.
The schedule in this regard has already been framed and circulated to the concerned field functionaries.
