DC Santosh chairs meeting to discuss implementation of IWMP 2.0

KARGIL, DEC 30, 2022:
Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve today chaired a meeting to discuss implementation of approved schemes under the Integrated Watershed Management Programme (IWMP) 2.0 of Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY 2.0) with the concerned district officers.
DC Santosh instructed the concerned officers to inspect the feasibility of projects under the IWMP 2.0 sanctioned in various Blocks of the District
He also directed the officers to ensure interdepartmental convergence of resources and projects to optimize proper utilization of resources along with promotion of agriculture and horticulture activities to achieve livelihood generation.
The DC also directed the PMKSY technical staffs to prepare DPRs in consultation with the line department such as Horticulture, Agriculture, SKUAST and KVK, Kargil to implement the scheme in various blocks of the district.
Assistant Commissioner Development, Chief Planning Officer, DPO, Chief Animal Husbandry, Kargil, Chief Horticulture Officer, Chief Agriculture, Officer, District Social Officer, Assistant Director Fisheries, Principal Scientist and Head Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kargil, Chief Scientist and Incharge Head Mountain Agriculture Research and Extension Station, SKUAST-K Kargil beside other concerned officers and technical staff of IWMP 2.0 attended the meeting.
