Coverage of left-out eligible persons under pensionary schemes: Department of Social Welfare Ladakh holds special drive

KARGIL, AUGUST 11, 2021: To trace out of the left-out persons eligible for sanction of pensionary benefits under different schemes, the Department of Social Welfare Ladakh has started a special drive in Kargil District from August 7, 2021 which will continue for a period of one month.
All Panchayat Halqas/villages of the district are being covered under the special drive, during which the Sarpanchs and ICDS functionaries will assist the field functionaries of the department to gather information about the left-out beneficiaries.
The schedule in this regard has already been framed and circulated to the concerned field functionaries.
As per the schedule, the date of survey in case of Panchayat Halqas Gyaling, Prantee, Kargee, Tai Suru etc of Block Tai Suru was from 7th to 9th August, 2021, while in case of the Panchayat Halqas Chulichan, Silmoo, Darchiks, Garkone etc of Sodh Block is scheduled from 10th to 12th August, 2021.
The schedule further states that the dates of survey in case of the Panchayat Halqas Pashkum, Tingdo, Mulbekh, Wakha, Karit, Tacha, Kukstey and Lotsum etc of Pashkum, Shargole and Lotsum Blocks will be carried out from 16th to 18th August, 2021.
In case of Drass and Bhimbat Blocks, the survey in Goshan, Holiyal, Kharboo and Thasgam Panchayat Halqas is scheduled to be held from 19th to 21st August, while in Shakar Chiktan Block the survey will be carried out in Panchayat Halqa Bodh Kharboo, Samrah, Chiktan etc from 22nd to 23rd August, 2021.
According to the schedule, Panchayat Halqa Trespone, Saliskote, Sankoo and Faroona of Block Sankoo and TSG will be covered under the survey from 24th to 27th August, 2021 while in Barsoo Block, the survey will be conducted in the Panchayat Halqas Barsoo, Bartoo, Itchu, Khandi etc from 29th to 30th August, 2021.
Regarding the schedule for Zanskar and Karsha Blocks, survey in the Panchayat Halqas Sani, Padum, Zangla, Askshow and Ufti etc will be done from 31st August, 2021 to 2nd September, 2021.
In case of Lungnaq Block, the survey in Panchayat Halqa Pipcha, Itcher, Chah, Testa and Kargyak etc is scheduled to be conducted from 3rd to 4th September, 2021.
As per the schedule, the survey to trace out the left out beneficiaries in Kargil Block will be conducted in all municipal area, Poyen, Shilikchay, Hardass and Karkit etc from 5th to 7th September, 2021.
