    CEC flags-off batch of local youths for an educational training program in Bengaluru

    Leh, Dec 11: The Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson flagged off the first batch of youths from Leh district for an educational tour and residential life skill cum vocational training to the institute of Sri-Sri Rural Development Programme Trust, Bengaluru for two months. The program has been organized by the Hill Council and District Administration Leh under the banner of the ‘Youth Support Scheme’.
    While addressing the media, CEC Gyalson stated that the objective of conducting the training program is to provide a good platform for the youths to train themselves in various technical fields which would further help them in practicing and training local youths as well. He also stated that such steps would help reduce the issues of unemployment among local youths. He further added that the Hill Council, Leh is working collectively with such institutes for conducting similar programs in the future.
    Executive Councillor for Agriculture, Stanzin Chosphel, ADC Leh, Sonam Chosjor, Councillor Khaltse, Lobzang Sherab were also present during the occasion.
