    CEC, DC Leh inaugurates blacktopped roads in Tibetan settlements of Leh

    Leh, Sep 29: The Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Advocate Tashi Gyalson and DC/CEO LAHDC Leh, Shrikant Suse inaugurated newly constructed internal black topped roads at Tibetan Settlement Camp no. 1 & 2 in Choglamsar today. Executive Engineer, Construction Division Leh, Nisar Ahmed accompanied the officials.
    The Tibetan Chief Representative Officer, Tsetan Wangchuk, extended gratitude on behalf of the Tibetans to the Hill Council and the District Administration for the early completion of the blacktopped roads. He said that the current Hill Council has been fulfilling a number of long pending demands of the Tibetans residing in Leh Ladakh.
    CEC Tashi Gyalson and DC Shrikant Suse congratulated the Tibetan people of the settlements for the new road connectivity. Both the officials reassured their commitment to working for the welfare of the Tibetan community residing in Leh.
