    90 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 160 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, Jun 11: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 90 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 77 were reported in Leh and 13 in Kargil. A total of 2823 samples were tested in UT Ladakh- Leh 1688 and Kargil 1135. 2728 samples were found negative yesterday.
    No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
    The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 160 patients yesterday, out of which 146 patients were discharged in Leh and 14 in Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 853; 696 in Leh and 157 in Kargil district.
    The bulletin further informs that 545 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 178 passengers, including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles, were screened at Khaltse check post yesterday, 238 passengers, including drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles, were screened at the Upshi check post.
