5 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 5 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Aug 03: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of five new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday, four in Leh and one in Kargil. While a total of 2977 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 1264 and Kargil: 1713 were found negative.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged five patients yesterday, three from Leh and two from Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is at 57; 53 in Leh and four in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 2254 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 164 and 322 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts.
