    5 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 3 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, October 6: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, five new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday, all five in Leh. While a total of 896 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 434 and Kargil: 457 were found negative.
    No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
    The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged three patients yesterday, out of them one patient was discharged by CMO Leh and two by CMO Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 52; 49 in Leh and 3 in Kargil district.
    The bulletin further informs that 962 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 298 and 159 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts.
