    5-day coaching course concludes at Linkipal Ski Slope Kargil

    KARGIL, FEBRUARY 15, 2022: A 5-day coaching course which was organized by Ladakh Ski and Snowboard Association concluded today at Linkipal Ski Slope Kargil.
    In the course, 40 players including 25 basic and 15 advance took part in the camp (both boys and girls) and 15 selected players will represent Ladakh UT in Junior in the 3rd Khelo India Winter Games at Gulmarg.
    Director Industries and Commerce, Moses Kunzang was the chief guest on the occasion. General Manager District Industries Iftiqar, President Ladakh Adventure Sports Kargil Shahnawaz Var, President AKTTA Kargil Muhammad Ali Rangyoul and other dignitaries were also present.
    Kunzang appreciated the efforts of Ladakh Ski and Snowboard Association for organizing national-level coaching camp by utilizing the resources available with them.
    He directed General Manager Industries Centre Kargil to start a window for the registration process of societies in Kargil saying that it will lessen the burden of association registration, which was requested by various sports associations of Kargil from time to time.
    Later he distributed prizes among the players. In the senior category Slalom event, Anayat Ali, Irfan Hussain and Nazira Banoo got first, second and third positions respectively.
    Similarly, in the junior category boys Akbar, Muhammad Hussain and Zakir Hussain for first, second and third positions respectively.
    Likewise, in the junior category girls, Archo Bushr, Tohira Banoo and Farida Banoo got first second and third positions respectively.
    Shahnawaz Var and Muhammad Ali Rangyoul announced Rs 10,000 cash prize to the Ski and Snowboard Association Ladakh.
    The program ended with vote of thanks to the chief guest, guests, participants and media fraternity for making the program successful.
