4 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 9 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Aug 06: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, four new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday, two each in Leh and Kargil. While a total of 2054 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 1032 and Kargil: 1022 were found negative.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged nine patients yesterday, and all the nine patients were discharged from Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 62; 57 in Leh and five in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 2010 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While, 112 and 326 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts.
