    2 deaths; 120 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 63 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, Apr 26: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh last night, a total of 120 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 104 reports were received by CMO Leh and 16 positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil.
    With the death report of two more patients from Covid-19 reported by CMO Leh yesterday, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has reached 138; 94 in Leh and 44 in Kargil.
    The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 63 patients yesterday. Out of which 43 patients were discharged by CMO Leh and 20 patients were discharged by CMO Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 2027; 1926 in Leh district and 101 in Kargil district.
    The bulletin further informs that 895 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 53 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post on Saturday and eight passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at screening point Upshi on Saturday.
