    17 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 34 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, Jul 02: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 35 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, ten were reported in Leh and seven in Kargil. While, a total of 3663 sample reports in UT Ladakh; Leh: 2205 and Kargil: 1458 were found negative yesterday.
    No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
    The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 34 patients yesterday. Out of which 26 patients were discharged in Leh and eight in Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 262; 225 in Leh and 37 in Kargil district.
    The bulletin further informs that 1730 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 249 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse check post yesterday and 593 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi check post.
