    14 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 19 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, Jul 21: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 14 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday, 12 in Leh and two in Kargil. While a total of 2528 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 893 and Kargil: 1635 were found negative.
    No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
    The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 19 patients yesterday and all were discharged from Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 94; 76 in Leh and 18 in Kargil district.
    The bulletin further informs that 1961 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 102 and 540 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts respectively.
