    138 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 141 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, May 30: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh last night, a total of 138 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 123 reports were received by CMO Leh and 15 positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil. While, a total of 2128 sample reports in UT Ladakh; Leh: 1291 and Kargil: 837, were found negative.
    The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 141 patients yesterday. Out of which 122 patients were discharged by CMO Leh and 19 patients were discharged by CMO Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 1603; 1381 in Leh district and 222 in Kargil district.
    The bulletin further informs that 365 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 77 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse check post yesterday and 75 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi check post.
