1 death; 53 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 53 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Jun 20: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 53 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 51 were reported in Leh and two in Kargil. While, a total of 2762 sample reports in UT Ladakh; Leh: 1853 and Kargil: 909 were found negative yesterday.

With the death of one patient from Covid-19 reported in Kargil yesterday, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has reached 201; 143 in Leh and 58 in Kargil.

The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 53 patients yesterday. Out of which 38 patients were discharged in Leh and 15 in Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 432; 317 in Leh and 115 in Kargil district.

The bulletin further informs that 1254 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 329 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse check post yesterday and 518 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi check post.
