    1 death; 38 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 57 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, Jun 16: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 38 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 21 were reported in Leh and 17 in Kargil. While, a total of 3067 sample reports in UT Ladakh; Leh: 1872 and Kargil: 1195 were found negative yesterday.
    With the death of one patient from Covid-19 reported in Kargil yesterday, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has reached 199; 143 in Leh and 56 in Kargil.
    The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 57 patients yesterday and all the patients were discharged in Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 552; 410 in Leh and 142 in Kargil district.
    The bulletin further informs that 791 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 252 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse check post yesterday and 402 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi check post.
