    1 death; 148 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 209 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, Apr 25: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh last night, a total of 148 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 140 reports were received by CMO Leh and eight positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil.

    With the death report of one more patient from Covid-19 reported by CMO Leh yesterday, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has reached 136; 92 in Leh and 44 in Kargil.

    The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 209 patients yesterday. All the patients were discharged by CMO Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 1972; 1867 in Leh district and 105 in Kargil district.

    The bulletin further informs that 888 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 37 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post on Friday and 10 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at screening point Upshi on Friday.
