    1 death; 134 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 127 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, May 20: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 134 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 124 reports were received by CMO Leh and 10 positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil.

    With the death of one patient from Covid-19 reported by CMO Kargil yesterday, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has reached 171; 123 in Leh and 48 in Kargil.

    The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 127 patients yesterday. Out of which 96 patients were discharged by CMO Leh and 31 patients were discharged by CMO Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 1589; 1328 in Leh district and 261 in Kargil district.

    The bulletin further informs that 238 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 49 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post on Tuesday and 103 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi check post on Tuesday.
