    1 death; 12 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 15 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, Jul 10: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 12 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, nine were reported in Leh and three in Kargil. While, a total of 2547 sample reports in UT Ladakh; Leh: 1158 and Kargil: 1389 were found negative yesterday.
    With the death of one patient from Covid-19 reported in Leh yesterday, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has reached 206; 148 in Leh and 58 in Kargil.
    The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 15 patients yesterday and all were discharged in Leh. With this the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 131; 93 in Leh and 38 in Kargil district.
    The bulletin further informs that 1953 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 103 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse check post yesterday and 900 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi check post
