    1 death; 114 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 145 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, May 08: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh last night, a total of 114 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 89 reports were received by CMO Leh and 25 positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil.
    With the death of one patient from Covid-19 reported by CMO Leh yesterday, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has reached 152; 108 in Leh and 44 in Kargil.
    The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 145 patients yesterday. Out of which 123 patients were discharged by CMO Leh and 22 patients were discharged by CMO Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 1400; 1185 in Leh district and 215 in Kargil district.
    The bulletin further informs that 466 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 20 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post on Thursday.
