Zila Sainik Welfare Office Kargil holds seminar on freedom struggle

KARGIL, DECEMBER 18, 2021: Zila Sainik Welfare Office Kargil today conducted a seminar on the theme of “Freedom Struggle” as part of a series of activities under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
The event was aimed to pay rich tributes to martyrs of freedom fighters and evoke public emotion and sentiment towards armed forces who keep borders safe so that the nation can prosper.
Zila Sainik Welfare Office Kargil, Kacho Muhammad Ali Khan inaugurated the event with salute to the freedom fighters and highlighted their role with regard to the Indian freedom struggle.
Khan also spoke about the role of freedom fighters and unsung heroes in the freedom movements and praised the service and sacrifices of armed forces who keep borders safe.
The seminar was attended by ex-servicemen of Kargil district. Many participants shared their views about the freedom movements and role of freedom fighters for freedom struggle.
