    Youths from Leh completes vocational training at Bengaluru

    Leh, Feb 04: A virtual interaction was held today with the first batch of youth’s from Leh district after their successful completion of two months of vocational training at the Sri Sri Rural Development Trust, Bengaluru organized by the Hill Council and District Administration Leh under the banner of the ‘Youth Support Scheme’.
    The Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Leh Advocate Tashi Gyalson expressed his gratitude to the trust for assisting the Hill Council in providing opportunities to the youths from the different regions of Leh during the program. Dy Chairman, LAHDC Leh, Tsering Angchuk, Executive Councillor for Minority Affairs, Ghulam Mehdi Ashoor, Executive Councillor for RDD, Tashi Namgyal Yakzee, and Executive Councillor for Agriculture, Stanzin Chosphel were also present.
    CEC Gyalson interacted with the trainees from Leh and enquired about their training and experiences. The youths shared their learning experiences at the trust and thanked the Hill Council Leh for their continuous support in providing them such opportunities.
    Chairman LAHDC Leh congratulated the trainees for the successful completion of their vocational training and hoped that the trainees will contribute to laying a good foundation for the newly formed UT of Ladakh through their acquired skills. He extended his best wishes to the students for their future endeavors.
    The Program Coordinator at SSRDP Trust expressed his satisfaction and thanked the Hill council for successfully conducting the vocational training program in Bengaluru and hoped for further coordination in engaging more youths from Leh Ladakh.
