UT Ladakh reports one new Covid-19 positive case; 05 patients cured and discharged

Leh, April 1: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, one new positive sample report of Covid-19 was reported. No deaths were reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
While a total of 380 sample reports were tested in UT Ladakh. 357 sample reports in Leh and 22 sample reports in Kargil were found to be negative.
The bulletin further informs that 05 patients have been cured and discharged. All of them were discharged by CMO Leh.
With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 06; all the active cases are in Leh district. The bulletin further informs that 2056 passengers were screened at the KBR, Leh airport while 969 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post and 332 passengers were screened at Khangral check post.
