UT Ladakh reports 65 new Covid-19 positive cases; 12 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Jan 04: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, 65 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. 58 positive sample reports were received by CMO Leh and 7 positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil. No death was reported yesterday.
While a total of 839 sample reports were tested in UT Ladakh. 394 sample reports in Leh and 380 sample reports in Kargil were found negative.
The bulletin further informs that 12 patients have been discharged. The patients were discharged by CMO Leh.
With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 249; 198 cases in Leh and 51 cases in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 643 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 146 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post.
