UT Ladakh reports 18 new Covid-19 positive cases; 11 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Dec 31: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, 18 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. 15 positive sample reports were received by CMO Leh and three positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil. No death was reported yesterday.
While a total of 1006 sample reports were tested in UT Ladakh. 684 sample reports in Leh and 304 sample reports in Kargil were found negative.
The bulletin further informs that 11 patients have been discharged. The patients were discharged by CMO Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 204; 152 cases in Leh and 52 cases in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 716 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 131 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post.
