UT Ladakh reports 17 new Covid-19 positive cases; 23 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Jan 03: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, 17 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. The positive sample reports were received by CMO Leh. One death was reported yesterday.
While a total of 492 sample reports were tested in UT Ladakh. 357 sample reports in Leh and 118 sample reports in Kargil were found negative.
The bulletin further informs that 23 patients have been discharged. 17 patients were discharged by CMO Leh and Six patients were discharged by CMO Kargil.
With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 196; 152 cases in Leh and 44 cases in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 419 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 80 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post.
