UT Ladakh reports 16 new Covid-19 positive cases; 27 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Dec 16: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, 16 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. All of the positive sample reports were received by CMO Leh.
While a total of 795 sample reports were tested in UT Ladakh. 508 sample reports in Leh and 270 sample reports in Kargil were found negative. No deaths from Covid-19 was reported in Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further informs that UT Ladakh has discharged 27 patients. All the patients were discharged by CMO Leh.
With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 163; 149 cases in Leh and 14 cases in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 470 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 151 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post.
