UT Ladakh reports 15 new Covid-19 positive cases; 32 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Dec 30: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, 15 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. 12 positive sample reports were received by CMO Leh and three positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil.
While a total of 986 sample reports were tested in UT Ladakh. 632 sample reports in Leh and 336 sample reports in Kargil were found negative.
The bulletin further informs that UT Ladakh has discharged 32 patients. 23 patients were discharged by CMO Leh and nine patients were discharged by CMO Kargil.
With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 197; 148 cases in Leh and 49 cases in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 590 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 240 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post.
