UT Ladakh reports 14 new Covid-19 positive cases; 29 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Dec 28: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, 14 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday.
10 positive sample reports were received by CMO Leh and four positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil.
While a total of 1029 sample reports were tested in UT Ladakh. 575 sample reports in Leh and 440 sample reports in Kargil were found negative.
The bulletin further informs that UT Ladakh has discharged 29 patients. 12 patients were discharged by CMO Leh and 17 patients were discharged by CMO Kargil.
With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 193; 141 cases in Leh and 52 cases in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 632 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 95 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post.
