UT Ladakh reports 13 new Covid-19 positive cases; 19 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Dec 21: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, 13 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. The positive sample reports were received by CMO Leh.
While a total of 756 sample reports were tested in UT Ladakh. 532 sample reports in Leh and 211 sample reports in Kargil were found negative. One death from Covid-19 was reported in Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further informs that UT Ladakh has discharged 19 patients. The patients were discharged by CMO Leh.
With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 181; 151 cases in Leh and 30 cases in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 689 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 97 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post.
