UT Ladakh reports 1 new Covid-19 positive case; 1 patient cured and discharged

Leh, April 13: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, 1 new positive sample report of Covid-19 was received yesterday by CMO Leh. No deaths were reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
While a total of 191 sample reports were tested in UT Ladakh. 168 sample reports in Leh and 22 sample reports in Kargil were found to be negative. The bulletin further informs that 1 patient was cured and discharged by CMO Leh.
With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 12; 10 cases in Leh and 2 cases in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 2157 passengers were screened at the KBR, Leh airport while 819 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post and 110 passengers were screened at Khangral check post
