Training program on bookkeeping, accounting for JJM held at Kargil

KARGIL, APRIL 27, 2022: Natural Resource Management & Common Wealth which is the implementation support agency for Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) today inaugurated a training program for Village Water Sanitation Committee (VWSC) members at Conference Hall, Baroo.
On the occasion, District Superintending Engineer, PHE Tashi Tunsup, Executive Engineer, PHE Muhammad Hassan Lone, BDC Chairperson Kargil Block, Khatija Banoo and members of Panchayati Raj Institution were present.
Speaking on the occasion, SE Tashi Tundup said that JJM works are in full swing in the district and instructed to take the mission seriously to implement the projects effectively for the maximum benefit of public.
The initial training focused on bookkeeping and accounting. The program is aimed to cover training on rainwater harvesting, greywater management, construction supervision and quality control of public water supply scheme, geo-tagging etc. Officials said similar training programs are also in pipeline for other blocks of Kargil district.
